Gun Storage
Did you know that we offer a gun storage service at Audley House?
If you live in or near London, or spend most of your time abroad, this can make a lot of sense. Guns may be left here for long or short periods, and may be collected at any time during working hours Monday to Saturday on presentation of the original of a current Shot Gun Certificate or Visitor’s Permit, (or Firearm Certificate in the case of rifles).

Hours
9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
10am – 5.00pm Saturday

Charges start at less than £4 +VAT per week per gun, and this includes cleaning and oiling on arrival, and insurance against accidental damage, fire, or theft whilst your guns are in our care.

Repairs, servicing and valuations
We repair and service all makes of “best gun” but not surprisingly, specialise in maintaining Purdey guns, old and new, in optimum condition. We will gladly advise on the economics of restoring older guns, including re-barrelling and re-stocking, and also on altering guns to your measurements. We provide detailed condition reports and quotations for servicing and repairs. Regular maintenance of valuable guns, ensuring they stay in good condition and proper working order, makes sound economic sense. Who better to do so than their maker? A full service history is essential if the maximum resale value of a car is to be realised; guns are no different!

For insurance valuations we charge £50 +VAT per valuation.
